Administration Assistant - Mo Mowlam

Horizons Specialist Academy Trust consists of eight Academies and one Sixth Form across the Tees Valley and North Yorkshire areas serving a population in excess of 1000 students with a broad range of learning difficulties.

The Trust wishes to appoint an experienced Admin Assistant to join our administration team. The post will be based at Mo Mowlam Academy.  The main duties include greeting visitors, answering the telephone and other general administrative tasks that will support the students and staff.

The successful candidate will have a friendly personality and possess excellent communication and keyboard/IT skills as well as the ability to show initiative in dealing with enquiries and providing support. Applicants will have a minimum of 5 GCSEs or equivalent qualifications (including Maths and English) or appropriate experience. Experience of working in a busy school setting and knowledge of working with SIMS would be an advantage.

Although this post is based at Mo Mowlam Academy, there is an expectation that on occasion the postholder may be asked to work at one of the other local Academies if necessary.
