Welcome from the Chief Executive

I’m extremely proud to lead Horizons Specialist Academy Trust - a group of special schools fully dedicated to helping children and young people with a wide range of special educational needs thrive in both primary and secondary settings.

Alongside our Board of Trustees and the Principals of each academy, we’re committed to continually improving our schools. We build on what works well and share successful strategies across the Trust to ensure every student has the best possible experience.

Our goal is to help students become as independent as they can be, enjoy success and fulfilment, and make a positive difference in their communities. To achieve this, we believe in working closely with families, students, and professionals – supporting each young person to reach their full potential.

Our motto, "To do more and to do it better," is more than just words - it reflects the way we think, work, and plan across the Trust.

It’s a real privilege to lead this Trust, and I look forward to working together with you as we continue to grow and achieve even more for our students.
